1:10 but they share common form factors
1:16 such as the number of speed and rolls of

1:20 so there's no vendor-specific
1:22 information involved in the individual
1:24 logical devices
1:27 they are then mapped using an interface
1:29 map to an actual physical device
1:37 you can see in this pick list we have an
1:40 extensive list of multi-vendor device

1:46 so functionally what appstra allows you
1:49 to do is manage multiple data centers
1:52 from a single management even if those
1:54 data centers use different vendors

2:14 spines three leaf switches associated
2:17 servers and a gateway router

2:36 appstro will translate that to the
2:38 individual config needed for the
2:40 different vendor devices
2:45 in the case of the new york data center
2:47 with juniper devices we can take a look
2:49 at our spine 1
2:51 and we can take a look at the rendered
2:53 configuration and we can see juno's
2:55 config
2:59 similarly with the cisco data center we
3:01 click on spine1
3:07 these have the same device profile and
3:09 the same intent to be found in all of
3:11 these data centers we can see that it's
3:14 rendered the configuration for the cisco
3:16 devices
3:19 and finally arista data center same case
3:24 we can take a look at the rendered
3:26 configuration
3:28 and see the eos config
3:32 this is how you can deploy and operate
