On March 31, during OFC 2025 at the Moscone Center, Lightwave + BTR concluded its 12th annual Innovation Review by honoring standout achievements in telecom networking. Juniper Networks and Elisa Oyj earned one of only two perfect 5.0 scores for the world’s first 800ZR in-service deployment of its 800G router (PTX10002-36QDD) integrated with early-release 800ZR optics. This trailblazing 800ZR IPoDWDM solution powers the backbone network of Elisa Oyj, Finland’s leading telecom and digital service provider.

0:27 hey Sean thank you and uh it's really
0:29 great to be here and receive this award
0:31 uh with Eliza we really wanted to
0:34 increase their capacity because they
0:36 were upgrading their network we had to
0:38 give them 800 gig in the smallest
0:40 footprint of the most compact footprint
0:43 and the ability to actually save on
0:45 power with sustainability in mind with
0:47 the performance in mind we were able to
0:50 actually do this with Elise and it is
0:52 the first most compact router that we
0:55 built here at Juniper along with the ZR
0:58 800 gig ZR technologies and the Gigi
1:01 technologies to be able to get it
1:03 deployed and make it live one thing uh I
1:07 would add a is that this is the
1:09 combination of two worldclass
1:11 technologies the Juniper Express 5
1:13 silicon which is 28.8 TB world's largest
1:16 routing silicon in a single chip and the
1:19 800 gig ZR so combining 800 gig e and
1:22 800 gig zor in a very very small
1:25 footprint uh this this is uh sustainable
1:29 and driving power and TCO for our
1:32 customers like never before
