Data Center Assurance works with Apstra Data Center Director to deliver superior insights, speed, and reliability for data center network operations.
AIOps capabilities in Data Center Assurance deliver AI-native insights unlike any other solution, helping you proactively predict and prevent problems, accelerate root cause identification and resolution, and move from reactive troubleshooting to proactive assurance across both data center networks and enterprises applications. Machine learning drives insights into the applications and services on your data center network and helps you understand how network issues may impact applications and end user experiences. AI-native predictions help you to identify future problems and correct them before they occur. And powerful GenAI capabilities allow you to complete an increasingly large fraction of your day-to-day tasks simply by talking to the conversational Marvis AI Assistant for Data Center.
Key Features
The Marvis AI Assistant for Data Center is the industry’s only AI-native conversational virtual assistant for data center operations. Marvis works with Apstra Data Center Director to provide proactive and prescriptive data center actions to accelerate problem resolution. Their GenAI capabilities allow network operators to complete day-to-day tasks by simply talking to Marvis.
Application Awareness adds application and service data to the Data Center Director contextual graph, delivering improved application-to-network visibility. Application Awareness increases your understanding of where apps and services attach, how they communicate across the network, and what resources they consume, providing direct insights and powering application assurance tools such as Impact Analysis.
Impact Analysis builds on Application Awareness to enable faster troubleshooting and issue resolution and improved application assurance. Machine learning maps identified issues to impacts, providing a clear picture of which root causes responsible for application impacts and which are unrelated. State comparison between different timeframes improves identification and resolution of transient issues.
Service Level Expectations (SLEs) dashboards provide summary views of network and application health over time. This data is highly valuable, allowing you to track how well the network team is meeting performance and availability expectations of application owners and end users, and identify the most important areas for improvement that may need to be addressed through staffing, training, process changes, or investments in tools and technology.
Data Center Assurance works with Apstra Data Center Director, Juniper’s multivendor fabric management and automation software, to deliver cloud-based AIOps benefits, regardless of which switching vendors are deployed.
Juniper was also recognized with the highest score for Enterprise Data Center Network and the second highest score for AI Ethernet Fabric in the 2025 Gartner Critical Capabilities for Data Center Switching.
