Services are focused on use case enablement and designed to get you up and running with minimal overhead and impact to engineering and operations teams.

Services description

Juniper^® Routing Director Deployment Services provide a fast track to enabling business outcomes for enterprises, cloud providers, and service providers. The services are available in two variants, plus one optional add-on:

Juniper Routing Director Base Deployment Service (base use cases enablement)
Juniper Routing Director Premium Deployment Service (base use cases and service orchestration enablement)
Routing Active Testing Enablement (optional add-on)

All services are delivered remotely and aid with design, deployment, and accelerated rollout activities, ensuring customers maximize Routing Director’s benefits.

The services empower you at every stage of implementation, including prerequisites for use cases enablement with network implementation planning, device and interface profiles creation, device management, overall workflow testing and validation, and tailoring of predefined service designs to match your unique requirements.

Activities/Tasks	Description	Features and Benefits
Solution design workshop	Juniper conducts a requirements review workshop to interactively discuss the technical aspects of the solution and supported features It includes a high-level discussion of the architecture, implementation, and recommended deployment approach	Alignment on design details, project scope, and expectations Accelerated solution adoption based on valuable insights regarding the network Detailed technical design document comprised of solution architecture, system and connectivity requirements, platform installation process, and features configuration
Design validation testing	Create lab document detailing setup Execute planned tests for use cases validation Follow by reviewing test results against agreed acceptance criteria and appropriate issue resolution	Ensure that the desired capabilities are in place and working as intended
Software deployment and configuration	Juniper will deploy Routing Director software, onboard up to 10 new Juniper network devices and configure the software for base use cases: Device onboarding Device management Observability Trust Service orchestration enablement (included only in Premium Deployment Service) with tailoring for up to two (2) predefined Service Designs already existing in Routing Director	Applies a process-driven approach to ensure accurate installation and functioning of Routing Director software

Routing Active Testing use case enablement add-on	Deployment of up to 20 test agents Creation of up to two (2) use cases with monitor/test templates Configuration of alerts	Maximize the value of Routing Active Testing to validate and test your network Tailor the solution to meet customer needs and help maintain the network in a continuously high-quality state
