0:07 hello and thanks for joining I'm Shila

0:10 Nesh marketing lead for Juniper Beyond

0:12 Labs Juniper Networks has been working

0:15 with an ecoystem of Partners to advance

0:17 Quantum safe Communications through our

0:20 Juniper Beyond Labs initiative and back

0:23 in August we made an exciting

0:25 announcement that Juniper Ventures was

0:27 investing in Quantum Bridge one of our

0:29 partners ERS who is a leader in

0:31 distributed symmetric key establishment

0:34 or dsk Solutions here with me today to

0:37 share more about our partnership is

0:39 Matia montaga the co-founder and CEO of

0:42 quantum Bridge Matia first off

0:44 congratulations on your success and of

0:47 the recent funding thank you very mucha

0:49 my pleasure to be here so you've

0:51 mentioned you worked on in a couple of

0:53 different projects um could you share a

0:54 little bit more about how you um how

0:57 you've like typically collaborated with

0:59 our team uh for sure so the um the first

1:03 project we were working on was uh a

1:05 request actually by um a government in

1:09 the in the G7 space they wanted to have

1:11 solution to make their infrastructure

1:13 Quantum safe and uh they Juniper is uh

1:17 one of the provider that they use to

1:18 build networks and so it became natural

1:21 for us immediately to start

1:22 collaborating with the with juniper on

1:24 this uh specific customer request um

1:28 Juniper was one of the first adopter of

1:30 the RF C 784 which is a protocol

1:33 developed by the iatf community to

1:36 integrate um qu or preure key or Quantum

1:39 safe key into the ipx system and uh

1:42 Juniper also was one of the first

1:43 adopter of etsy which is an interface

1:45 that allow U external key provider to uh

1:49 deliver Keys into Juniper appliances um

1:52 so when we start to collaborate uh we

1:55 were looking for a way to deploy our

1:57 solution as a startup which is not a

1:59 full stock solu solution because we

2:00 deliver keys but we don't protect we

2:02 don't decry the traffic of our customers

2:05 um became a natural collaboration with

2:08 juniper to deliver a full stock solution

2:10 to our customer to have a a full uh

2:14 Quantum safe ipack uh Network so this

2:18 was the first project we will

2:19 collaborate with um and then since then

2:22 I think we we did a number of projects

2:25 in different verticals and different

2:26 sectors I love seeing the progress in

2:29 our relationship in the last two years

2:31 um how how do you see our Visions

2:34 aligning especially as you're thinking

2:35 about the future of Corbridge I think um

2:38 Juniper has this vision of deliver the

2:41 value of U their customer of quantum

2:44 security and to maintain them the

2:46 flexibility to decide between different

2:48 providers and different protocol and

2:50 different Technologies and this align

2:52 very much with what we do at Quantum

2:54 Bridge right to provide them with the

2:57 solution that can migrate them today

3:00 into Quantum security but without

3:02 locking them in in any particular

3:04 specific protocol or or technology so I

3:07 think we're line very much on the way we

3:09 want to approach the problem of quantum

3:11 security and the way we think the

3:13 migration should be done um we think

3:16 both think that that's a a good occasion

3:19 to allow for um the infrastructure to

3:22 become more crypto agile So to avoid a

3:24 situation like the one it's happening

3:26 right now because of the quantum threat

3:27 in 20 years or in 30 years but to keep

3:29 the infrastructure agile for future

3:32 threat that may appear in in in the next

3:34 decades and we don't know about today

3:36 yeah I definitely I think we're all

3:38 aligned around wanting to collaborate

3:40 together to combat the quantum threat so

3:44 I guess now we've been in this

3:46 collaboration for over two years now

3:48 what what do you hope to Envision in the

3:50 future in in terms of our future

3:52 projects I think the main U the main

3:56 goal I think for Quantum bridge is to

3:59 make sure that uh um the customers and

4:03 uh the community in general have the

4:05 right tool to understand the quantum

4:06 threat and to counteract the quantum

4:08 threat and uh Juniper is the is is a is

4:12 an amazing vehicle for us to achieve

4:14 this objective and this goal because of

4:16 the huge market knowledge and huge

4:19 expertise that they have in all the

4:20 network uh field and so it's a um it's a

4:24 pleasure and it's an honor for us to

4:25 work with juniper um among all the

4:28 possible partner we could get I think we

4:30 have been extremely lucky to meet

4:31 Juniper early stage in our journey and

4:34 to and to work with you guys on on this

4:36 journey Matia thank you so much for

4:38 joining us today to share your

4:40 perspective on our partnership thank you

4:41 very much Ela for inviting me here for
